Treated poorly
I called with an issue. Never called before.
Using your product for 33 years. I was treated rudely, was told that they would write a report but there was nothing more they could do. They were not kind to me; they didn't care, and it makes me sad. This is what's wrong with the world today: corporations stealing our money and not caring about us.
I was a walking advertisement for their mascara. I told everyone to buy L'Oréal. I'm such a fool. I was sold a bad product, and then L'Oréal bullied me.
L'Oréal has lost a long-time customer. They will now lose many long-time customers because we real women are worth it.

Verified ReviewerI've been using L'Oreal hair color for several months. TWO times when using #9, natural blonde it came out light brown or ashe. This color is NOT the right color for my coloring.
Obviously, I am more than unhappy. It changes my whole appearance.
I can no longer trust your products. The money is spent.
It's not about the money. I needed to rant and to show others why they shouldn't trust your hair color products.

Why is L'Oreal insisting on constantly changing both the name of its hair colors frequently and the model on the box? They had the same box for years, then 38 Cannes, then boom 38 Light Golden Blonde, and the model's face (not appealing) is too prominent; I can't see the hair color. What gives?

My sister finally found her hair color in the shade champagne blonde which she thinks it was Preference. We have searched in stores and online and do not see that it even exists now! Are you familiar with this shade and can she still get it anywhere?

The loreal telescopic stick broke it is useless
For one not make the neck of the brush and the stick the way that you did that's why it broke it was wobbling every time I try to use it and you can't really do your eyelashes unless you use the point of the brush

Faulty product
Purchased 3 boxes Loreal Preference 8G hair color. All 3 bad mixture.
Not 8G Golden Blonde, but a dull brown.
Called customer service & the rep told to me to go to Wartmart for my refund!!!
Told her I have been an 8G customer for 20-25 years & rep was not impressed!! I no longer have the receipt of purchase.
I think this is terrible customer service.

I spent 27.98 on 2 boxes of Excellence Crème 7N, Dark Blonde, and the new growth of gray STAYED GRAY!!! After 44 years of coloring my hair, I am pretty knowledgeable about the process.
I usually buy Clairol, and have not had any issues, but Walgreens didn't have any Clairol Dark Blonde color in stock. I called L'Oréal Customer Service after the disappointing results, and though the lady was very professional and pleasant, I wasn't happy with their refund policy. She stated I would receive a coupon to be used on L'Oréal products, despite having my receipt, 2 empty boxes, and a picture of my hair which still showed the non-colored gray.
L'Oréal needs to remove the 100% Gray Coverage on the front of their box, because it is very misleading. I recolored my hair using Miss Clairol Dark Blonde, and it worked and it was much cheaper.
